You will study on your own using the free CFS Body of Knowledge and Practice Book, which will be available in August. These materials are all you need for the CFS® exam preparation—no additional books or resources are required.

After completing your exam preparation, you can pay and register for the CFS® exam. The exam is computer-based and available throughout the year. You can take it virtually at any time, from anywhere in the world.

💷 Affordable Exam Fee 

The CFS® exam fee is £149, and this is the only cost you need to pay. This one-time fee includes your initial exam plus up to three free re-sits — with absolutely no hidden costs.

• The CFS® exam is a single, on-demand online test available year-round. It lasts 90 minutes and consists of 50 multiple-choice questions (MCQs). Each question carries 2 marks, making a total of 100 marks.
  
• To pass, you must score at least 60%. All questions have one correct or best answer, and there is no negative marking for incorrect responses.
  
• Hardware requirements: You will need a laptop or desktop with a webcam and a stable internet connection to take the exam.

We offer up to three (3) free re-sit exam opportunities, allowing you to try again and succeed. You can even opt to take a re-sit exam immediately after an unsuccessful attempt. All re-sit exam opportunities must be utilised within three (3) months from the date of purchase.

We do not issue traditional paper certificates. Instead, we exclusively provide digital credentials. Upon successfully passing the exam, your digital certificate and digital badge will be issued within seven (7) working days through Credly.

You will have the convenience of online verification and the ability to download and print your digital certificate as needed. Your name will be added to the global directory of CFS® designation holders.
