The CSM® Exam
Exam Overview
The CSM® exam is a single, on-demand online test available year-round. It lasts 2 hours and consists of 75 multiple-choice questions (MCQs). Each question carries 4 marks, making a total of 300 marks.
To pass, candidates must score at least 60%. All questions have one correct or best answer, and there is no negative marking for incorrect responses.
Hardware Requirements
Candidates must use a laptop or desktop computer with a webcam and a stable internet connection to take the exam.
Multiple Re-sits at No Additional Cost
Candidates are entitled to up to three (3) free re-sit opportunities. A re-sit may be taken immediately after an unsuccessful attempt. All re-sit opportunities must be utilised within 90 days from the date of purchase.

The standard CSM® exam fee is £149. However, if you register on or before 31 January 2026, you can take the exam for £99. This one-time fee includes your initial exam and up to three free re-sits, with no hidden costs.

Once you are ready, register for the CSM® exam. The exams are computer-based, remotely proctored, and available on-demand—meaning you can take the exam virtually anytime, from anywhere in the world.
