Application Guidelines
Before starting your CPD Certification application, please review this page carefully first.
The online application form has seven (7) sections.
- Section 1 covers basic organisation details.
- Section 2 includes your CPD programme titles and details.
- Sections 3 to 6 follow the LEAD Standards: Legal Compliance, Educational Excellence, Accountability, and Development.
- Section 7 is the final declaration and agreement to the terms and conditions.
Section 1: CPD Provider
This section collects your basic organisational details as the CPD provider. You will provide:
- Legal name of organisation
- Trading name or brand name (if different)
- Registered or principal business address
- Country
- Website URL
- Year established
- Number of full-time employees
Section 2: CPD Programmes / Courses / Activities
This section focuses on the CPD programmes, courses, workshops, webinars, seminars, or other professional development activities you want IQN to approve.
You will need to:
- List all CPD programmes submitted for approval
- State the total CPD Credit Hours (CCH) across all submitted activities
- Upload programme specifications, syllabuses, course outlines, brochures, or timetables
Under IQN’s framework, 1 hour of verified and structured learning normally equals 1 CPD Credit Hour. Breaks, lunch, networking time, registration time, travel time, and unrelated activities must not be included. If you are submitting multiple CPD programmes, you may combine all documents into one ZIP file before uploading.
Section 3: Legal Compliance (LEAD)
This section reviews the legal status, and governance structure of your organisation. You will provide:
- Company or business registration details
- Supporting registration documents
- Regulatory approval or licence details (if applicable)
- Key organisational contacts responsible for CPD delivery
- Available organisational policies such as complaints, appeals, malpractice, data protection, etc. (if available).
Section 4: Educational Excellence (LEAD)
This section reviews the academic quality and professional value of your submitted CPD programmes. You will explain:
- How your CPD learning is designed
- How learning outcomes support professional competence
- How trainers and facilitators are selected
- How learner progress, participation, or assessment is evaluated
You will also upload trainer CVs, profiles, or facilitator biographies.
Section 5: Acccountability (LEAD)
In this section, you will explain:
- How CPD records and evidence are retained
- How complaints and appeals are handled
- How documents will be provided during IQN audits
- How CPD Credit Hours are assigned accurately
- How the Certified CPD logo by IQN will only be used for approved programmes
Supporting documents / attachments are normally not required for this section.
Section 6: Development (LEAD)
This section focuses on continuous improvement and long-term quality maintenance. You will explain:
- How learner feedback is collected and used
- How CPD programmes are reviewed and improved
- How content remains current and professionally relevant
- How trainers and staff maintain competence
- How major organisational changes will be reported to IQN
Supporting documents / attachments are normally not required for this section.
Section 7: Declaration and Terms
Before submission, you must confirm that:
- All information provided is accurate and complete
- The organisation agrees to comply with IQN CPD standards
- The Certified CPD logo by IQN will only be used for approved programmes
- Fees, annual renewal, and compliance responsibilities are understood
- The person submitting the form is authorised to act on behalf of the organisation
