An International Competency Exam for Professional Trainers
The Global Trainer Examination (GTE) is a proprietary, standards-based examination developed and administered by IQN.
GTE assesses the core knowledge, skills, and professional competence required of modern trainers, across industries and learning contexts. It provides independent, exam-based evidence of your trainer expertise.
Based on the IQN GTE Body of Knowledge (GTE-BoK), the exam provides an independent, exam-only route for trainers to demonstrate their capability through a rigorous online assessment.

As a trainer, expertise must be proven — not claimed. The GTE provides independent, exam-based evidence of your professional competence.
Passing the GTE confirms your mastery of the IQN Global Trainer Examination Body of Knowledge, covering essential trainer skills and professional standards.
The GTE validates what you know and can apply, rather than hours spent in training programmes.
Study the GTE Body of Knowledge and pass the exam — similar in structure to international benchmark exams.
Use the GTE credential to demonstrate competence to employers, institutions, and clients worldwide.
Prepare at your own pace and attempt the examination online from anywhere in the world.
The GTE Body of Knowledge is organised into 14 modules, each addressing a critical aspect of professional training.
