Criteria for Qualifying as MicroCPD
To qualify as an IQN Approved MicroCPD programme, your training must meet the three specific approval criteria outlined in the 3T Framework:
- Time: The course or training must be a short-duration programme, designed to fit within 6 hours or less. It should focus on specific, actionable skills or knowledge to ensure concise and impactful learning. The programme can be delivered in-person, online, or through blended learning.
- Training Outline: Each MicroCPD programme must have clear and specific learning objectives that address a particular skill, concept, or topic relevant to the profession or industry. An outline of the modules, topics, and activities is required. A template provided by IQN is available for download.
- Trainer Qualification: Trainers must demonstrate expertise in the subject matter through relevant qualifications, certifications, or professional experience. A CV template by IQN is available to download.
Fees
At IQN, we believe in providing a straightforward and cost-effective pricing model for our MicroCPD providers:
- Annual License Fee (£180): To become approved as MicroCPD provider, you need to pay an annual fee of £180. This fee covers an unlimited number of short courses and bite-size training programmes approved by us at no additional cost. The fee is payable once every year, and your organisation will also receive the official Approved MicroCPD Provider Badge.
- Limited-Time Offer: Join as a MicroCPD provider now and enjoy free registration until June 30, 2025—no fees required until that date!
- Digital Certificate of Participation Fee (£9 per learner): For just £9 per learner, each of your participants will receive an IQN-issued digital certificate of participation.
